This is really fun for me! At youth last night, our pastor was starting a series on using the gifts God gave us, and I'm really excited to go deeper in it and see the young people I spend time with interested in doing the same!
Have you spent time figuring out what spiritual gifts God has given you?
Do you even know where to start? (1Corinthians 12,14 and Ephesians 4)
Are you serving and loving people to your full potenial?
Are you just coming and going to church, or are you filling your place in the puzzle?
What would our homes, communities and churches look like if we all filled the roles that were specifically designed and assigned for us?
Maybe it's simpler than you think......will you find the joy of sharing your gifts?
The end of all things is near.
Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
Above all, love each other deeply,
because love cover over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to on another without grumbling.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms.
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides,
so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:7-11
Thank you Daddy that You have given each of us, Your children, special gifts and talents that are to be used to glorify you. Help us to see what they are, where we should use them to serve You and others, and to get great joy from seeing You at work in our lives!
