Craziness!

I bet you thought I was gonna get into a conversation about the absolute
insanity of the Christmas season and the last week of shopping till you drop
chaos....but alas I am not....I avoid it like the plague! Ha ha ha! 

I'm talking about the craziness of my mind right now.  I find it easy to be distracted from seeking God when one of my closest family members is in the hospital and I'm not able to be with her at this time.  But as I was praying for her, God whispered to me....she will be okay.....thank you Lord! (Psalm 27:13)
That is the ultimate value of spending time in God Word and reading scripture....He can remind you of things you need to hear at the perfect time.


  “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” 
      Joshua 1:7-9

Thank you Daddy for your Word, that you comfort me with it and therefore I know that I am hearing You!  Thank you for the faithful friends you have put in my life to pray with, encourage and walk alongside me in the craziness!  I am so grateful for the lessons you have taught me about running to you amidst distraction....you are my ever-present help in times of trouble!
