It seems to me that around this time every year, everything gets kicked into high gear. This time that ought to be that of slowing down and reflection; morphs into what do I need to buy, where do I need to be and will anyone be happy anyway? I feel God calling, asking me to slow down, to remember why it was that he left the heavenly realms to spend time on this earth. Completely God, completely man....

Thank you Daddy, for sending your one and only son....valuing us above yourself. While we are taking time to prepare for Christmas and the Advent season, help us to slow down and remember why it even exists!
